Happy New Year, Thrill Seekers!
Ryan here! I wanted to start the year with a quick update and a big thank you. This won’t all be new info for those of you receiving the Kickstarter updates.
The holiday season was a busy one for the whole team, and on my end that meant juggling my full-time marketing job, comic-making, dad duties, and the never-ending project of keeping a house from falling apart. Right now, I’ve got some lettering and a page of artwork to wrap up. We are also waiting on artwork for some ads from book sponsors. We are still on schedule. We just (obviously) didn’t have the books finished early like we originally hoped - but they are coming together beautifully.

The response to this project has honestly blown us away. Messages, emails, convention conversations - people have been asking about it constantly. The idea behind it struck a nerve that we genuinely weren’t expecting. The three stories are basically finished. Guilherme, the artist behind The Ballad of Crestwood Blues, is going to draw a couple of intro pages for it when he finishes Memphis vs. Zombies.
Until it releases, here’s a small preview of what’s coming your way:

We’ve also been hard at work building something brand new on the Thrill Comics website… and exclusive space just for the Thrill Seekers! It’s officially called The Juke Joint.
This will be a members-only section of the site that only card-carrying Thrill Seekers can access. Inside The Juke Joint, you’ll eventually find:
Early looks at artwork and covers.
Behind-the-scenes development notes.
Exclusive downloads and extras.
Special announcements before anyone else hears about them.
Exclusive discounts and the occasional strange thing that probably shouldn’t be there.
We’re still putting the finishing touches on it now, but this is a huge step toward building a proper Thrill Comics community hub. All recent Kickstarter backers will receive their membership cards with their books! If you didn’t back the Double Feature Kickstarter, you’ll still be able to join through the website, or in person at a convention, and get your Official Thrill Seeker membership card.
